CRX with B16A, limp mode?
My friend just picked up a CRX with a obd1 B16A. The car starts up fine and idles just fine. When he punches it, the car hits about 3k and bogs down. The tachometer bounces around until he lets off the gas. The highest gear he can get into is 3rd, then when he puts in the clutch the car dies.
Specs from what I know:
ITR cams, skunk2 valvetrain, dc sport headers, upped injectors (not sure of rate), 255lph walbro pump, stock block. It is tuned on crome.
The guy he bought it from suggested that the alternator is bad and that the ELD is messed up. No check engine light turns on when this happens, so I havent bothered with checking it.
Any kind of help would be great. I have read some stuff on here and saw some people mention limp mode, but people are saying its just obd2 that goes into limp mode.
