I am buying a whole d16z6 swap for 600$ it has a stage2 clutch and 8-9lb flywheel. Was wanting to know if I can use the flywheel and clutch from that tranny ?
Well what year is your car? 89-91 Si trannies should have 22 (right?) splines, while the 88's should only have 21. Just pull off your tranny and take a look at the mainshaft, count the splines. Or if you have the clutch disc there, see if it slides onto the mainshaft.
But yes, if you have a 89+ tranny, all Z6 clutch compenents will fit - well flywheel, clutch disc and pressure plate that is.
Edit: Sorry, I see by your sig that you have a '89, so like ryanr said - If you haven't installed a different tranny in your car, you should be fine.
