maybe a place like autozone carries the bulbs needed in amber? then just replace all of them?

because I am extreemly cheap, I just painted all my bulbs with red high temp engine paint. looks good IMO... but what a pain in the ***. there are probably 20 bulbs in the dash and guage cluster, maybe more. Had to pull out all the dials and switches and such to change the color of the backlighting. still missed a few. just plan on spending a full day on it.

i think i found a solution, i'm just gonna get the JDM auto cluster then fill in the auto stuff like P, N, R, D if i do it right ;you won't be able to tell the differance but we'll just have to see i'll let every one know how it goes.

you might acutally be able to use the gauge bezel trim from your USDM 5spd cluster on the JDM cluster. what's the difference besides the amber light and i guess the absence of MPH on the speedo?

My 2 cents:
To make the "JDM" cluster you just need the 194 amber bulbs for either AutoZone or Pep Boys..... i've done it and it works nice.
Soon to post up pics about it

it's black number with green light from the back.
i am pretty sure there's a bulb coz the clock, radio and dash light all controlled by
the dimmer switch.(is a 6gen,again)
i could be wrong.
