I need help figuring out a some odd sound coming from my 03 rsx-s, sound started after mis-shifting into second from sixth gear ( was not speeding). it didn't red line at all and ever since then when ever i get higher into rpm's its sound like a hissing/rattling sound, it does happen when i rev the car and whenever i'm driving and i hear it and it happens between 4000 and 5300 rpm. i do know that its coming from under the front of the car. from inside the car it sounded like hissing but listening to it under the car it sounds like rattling. any help or suggestions is appreciated greatly.

 

can u get a video of the problem.. to many variables.

 

sounds like an exhaust leak to me cuz thats what i have but dont want to fix

 

You might have an exhaust leak were the header meets the rest of the exhaust.
