Intake pics please =)
Could you guys post up pics of your different intake setups and your impressions? I'm thinking about breaking down and getting an aftermarket intake and just want to see what's out there. Thanks

JDM type S intake + rev ( spoon ) filter..
no pics and it's for sale ( make an offer )
since i removed the type S intake i seriously noticed a down in high rpm operation ( +6000rpm )
didn't notive any diff in the lower rpm though
so my guess is taht if i can sense a diff in the higher rpm it should make a serious diff in power

Yeah I'd like to have it, are you jenex on www.vancouverpreludeclub.com? No money right now though, just thinking, unless you wanna make me a really, really killer deal
I'd go with the Type S intake if you can get your hands on one, like the one that's for sell right now. But I'm happy with the AEM CAI. Haven't had a signal probelm, ever since I installed it back in Nov of 2001.
Oh BTW I wouldn't get the Air Bypass valve, unless you drive in rivers, or you negligently drive through a flooded intersection.

I'd definitely recommend the AEM Cold Air over anything else. The Iceman would come in a close 2nd in my book, but the piping is smaller. Other than that, just stick with the stock airbox and tube and just remove the snorkle/resonator for free...

Man those Headers look nice HondaSport! Are they Mugen?
Heaps of people have told me that you really shouldn't go changing intakes, cause in a lot of cases you will actually lose power. Apparently Honda have done it pretty good to begin with.
Anyone confirm or deny this? I need the info (dyno charts would be nice!!
)
-Cheers!

Yes aftermarket intakes or homemade intakes make a DIFFERANCE, and anyone who says differant, Never had a aftermarket intake to begain with.
Last month I put my stock intake and box back on,just to see. Man, top-end fell off.Definatly felt a power loss.

Thanks for all the opinions and pics, still not sure what I'm gonna do though. Guess while I'm deciding I'll go send Comptech some hatemail
