CEL Off and On can someone help

im having problems with my car, when i turn on the switch theres no CEL but when i turn on my car the CEL turns on does someone have an answer for me... everything works vtec kicks in.. its just that the CEL is on while the car is on 3

You need to take it to autozone for a free scan and they'll tell you what the code is, then fix it...
