Default Vtec Pressure Bypass

i need some help.. i swap a jdm type r b18c into my 93 civic hatch and im currently using my friends jdm p72 ecu while my p28 gets chipped.. my check engine light turns on and it shoots codes 22 which is vtec pressure switch.. i bypass it by connecting a4 and d6, now when i turn on the switch no CEL but when i turn on the car the CEL comes on.. and i checked it and it shoots 22 again.. can somebody help

i hope this is the gsr version of the b18c. anyway your problem is that the jdm engines don't use a pressure switch and a usdm ecu will look for one. you either need a jdm ecu or a chipped ecu that does not look for the pressure switch.
