Wondering what the difference in the h22 and h23 throttle bodies are if their is any difference since they have different part numbers through honda. Are the tps sensors different? the fast idle valve are the same on both so that leads me to believe the structure of the t-body is the same. Different porting?

 

I used to have a H23a1 and I still have the intake mani and TB laying around. I don't think there's any difference and if so then it's just the inlet diameter but even then the plenum on the H23a1 still had P13 stamped on it so it would be the same as the H22.

 

Yeah my main concern right now is the tps. If thats different on the throttle bodies.

 

Pretty much all hondas from that era use the same TPS, I have a civic TPS on my H22, on the H23 TB.

 

Yeah when I got my H22a the TPS was broken and I carried my H23a1 TPS over using a die grinder to cut slits into the rivets to screw them out with a flat blade screwdriver.

 

Sounds good, i aprreciate the info fellas. Just narrowing out some stuff. Problem with getting a car that has already been swapped, is now i have to check over everything that they did.
