I'm planning to use two sandwith adaptor plates under the oil filter. One Mfactory for oil pressure/temp and a Mocal plate for oil feed to an external cooler. I've removed the stock block/sandwitch oil cooler.

The question is will it be too much weight causing the bolts to break? Has anyone tried this?

 

Doesn't someone make an adapter plate that will have feed lines for an oil cooler and NPT ports for pressure and temperature. I currently own 2 like that, but haven't looked in a while.

 

That'd be excactly what I need but I haven't found anyone that sells one.

i just bought this one. type in oil sandwich plate and it will come up. you just gotta find the right thread size.

 

oh.. not bad. I'm not really a fan of the relocated filters and I will have to grab one of those when I get a cooler.
