Default tuning with aem ems

So ive got a turbo teggy and it has the aem ems standalone in it.. The car has a great tune on it, but it was tuned in seattle washington, and im in fort smith arkansas... 10k feet difference in elevation... Idk how to adjust the ems for barometric pressure to compensate for the drop in elevation... The problemm is the car reads hot and the heat light comes on, but i dont think the car is getting hot... Any ideas???

"Heat Light?" Did you mean the temp gauge is going up the "H?" If so, when does it overheat, while driving, sitting at idle, all the time after a set time no matter how the car is driven?
Start with those answers and you might have something unrelated to the tune or BARO settings.

thank you nge... and turbochurch: no the temp is not going to the h...it reads celcius...lol... the temp light just comes on after a while of driving... But the motor isnt getting hot... I think the ems is just sending wrong signals to the gauge...

[sarcasm]Arkansas is almost 2 miles above sea level? I thought Denver was up there at 1 mile... [/sarcasm]

Seattle is at or around sea level BTW. The highest point in the city of Seattle is just over 500ft.

I think you have assigned blame to something that doesn't exist (difference of altidude), since Fort Smith and Seattle are at the same average elevation (~400ft above sea level).

If your data window is showing the temperature as 'red' even though it is within standard operating temps, simply adjust that data window to turn red at a temperature you believe to be 'hot'.

As for units, there is a general options tab that allows you to select your units (ie: kpa vs psi, mph vs kph, *C vs *F...)
