I just got a new project use to have a 93 accord but got boring so now got me a 90 civic hatch it is pretty beat up inside was spraypainted by the previous owner sh!ty job but wat else was I expecting from an 800 $ car well I need all the interior new but the dash I want something diffrent any ideas or suggestions sorry for the life story hahahaha

 

Swap in a crx dash. its an easy swap and looks much cooler. They are pretty cheap these days and if you have a blue interior, you can easily find a blue dash to match...I have blue dashes in my garage and a black one in my car now.

I swapped a 90 crx dash into my 91 hatch when I was 16 and it was one of the first things I worked on to modify a car ever. It takes some time to do if you are not familiar with the bolt and wiring locations but its very straight forward and makes a huge difference in the appearance of your interior

Wont be close at all to fitting... crx dash is a direct swap. The accord dash will be too wide, the accords are wider than your civic

 

I seen a hatch with integra dash don't know how but they acomplished it looked sick what I really want is the center console of an s2000 or accord but hard to come by here where I live hello junkyard tomorow

 

actually, $800 for a 90 hatch should have gotten you a fairly clean one

swap in a DA dash. screw the crx dash, my knee always bashes the center console

 

But is it just bolt right up or slight modification

 

I beleive you have to modify the door panels not the dash to close the doors.

 

Search for that information yourself, you are obviously capable of using the internet

Google might be a better search tool then this site though. Search DA dash swap 4g or something. all 88-91 honda civics and crxs use the same dash mounting points to the frame. Using the DA dash you must of course have DA dash BRACKETS

I dont know if wagovan stuff fits, so if you find a big long fabrication thread with a wagovan, dont lose hope!

Its been done in 2 local crxs enar to me, looks great. I hate how the centerconsole is too snug on a cr, but damn it looks good!

 

Some dude was telling me his imaginary friend put a honda fit dash on his but its a 92 hatch way off from 91 under but ill try google thanks

 

here is my 89 hatch with a 1992 DA integra dashboard swap. you can see the door pannels cut to make it fit. i did not do the dash swap. my friend who i bought the car off...im pretty sure its the only EF hatch with this dash swap out there...most say its impossible but there is proof it isn't it just takes a lot of fab work from what the kid told me. the defroster and the air vents also work, the only thing that does not work is window defrosters because the vents dont line up

The CRX dash lines up well with your civic door panels. CRX door panels are interchangeable with hatch door panels...Ive done it before

 

there is a black dashin a white hatch in the yard by me and it looks mint.
prolly about a hundred for it, direct bolt in and its black.

 

I'm checkin with a friend he has two crx he uses for parts see if he will give me or sell me the dash and whole front end new thread will the whole front fenders hood bumper fit

 

Of course the CRX panels fit. I have a CRX dash AND panels in my '89 EF hatch

 

um...a 90 dash would fit a 90 hatch.....
