B18C1 Oil PCV/Breather Issues
I have blown 2 B18C1's trackside in 2 weeks. The last one had only 4 race miles on it when a rod came through the block and was OEM with no modifications running under 7000RPM.
The issue appears to be the craptacular oil breather canister on the engine. The way it is hooked up is as follows.
A canister is located on the floor of the cockpit. A tube runs from that to the PCV canister output that would normally go to the manifold. A second tube runs from the valve cover output (by the oil cap) to a different canister located by the clutch reservoir.
For whatever reason, these engines are pissing out all the oil in a matter of minutes and then seizing.
Any ideas?
We have 1 block / head left and I don't need another engine grenading on us this late in the season.
