d15b7 start up problems need help plz!
ok i was just driving down the interstate and all of a sudden my car dies
we tried jumping it and that was a fail
so i tried getting a new dizzy and that failed
and tried another obd1 ecu to check if that just went bad
every time i try to start her up the fuel pump engages and the engine turns over just doesn't run im puzzled
any ideas what the problem could be?
if this helps the motor sounds like its dying when its turning over
THANKS FOR THE HELP

I had the same problem with my b7. It turned out to be the grounds that are bolted to the thermostat housing. Check that, and the main battery ground for corrosion(both ends, battery, and body), clean them up, check to make sure the ends aren't loose. Hope that helps. gl
yeah turns out that when i dropped a gear then i skipped time so i ruined my head and bent the valves and all that good stuff but got a new car now
haha
