Is there any way I can fix this? Could I solder it? I slightly bent the fuel filter after installing it. I got a another new one but trying to see if this is salvagable since its only have about 5 minutes of use. Ideas?

 

Did it tear a hole? The pics are small .
.....or did it just get bent?

 

Accidently bent it too much.. & I can't return it b/c its used. I replaced with a new one already but wanted to see if I can save some $$ and repair it....

 

I personally wouldn't touch it. The risk of possible car fire is not worth the reward.
