Default HELP!! Broken Screw on Intake manifold

Hi Guys

I have a 2002 honda accord v6 j30a1 motor. I was doing clearing the EGR port and fixing this issue. When i was reattaching the intake manifold chamber and intake manifold, my torque wrench never torqued and caused me to tighten the nut to much and broke the screw.

My question is what is the best way to fix this? Is this a double sided screw or do i have to get a whole new intake manifold? Please help!!

Thanks

chances are that its a stud. a broken stud at that.i would remove the manifold and try using a good easy out from like snap-on.somthing to help when using said tool warm the manifold and use loctite freeze and release on the bolt.gl

It's a stud, I would say to just double nut it, assuming you can fit them on it, and back it out. I would spray some PB where it meets the intake manifold first and let it sit for a half hour to loosen it up for removal. You can get some PB at Walmart in the automotive section.
