will the p06 work with a b16 obd1? since the p06 is a non vtec ecu. but i figured it might since its got the s300 software??

yes it will, all mods have been performed to the ecu for it to be used on all d and b series engines. I was using it on a b16 turbo setup and it was also used for a d16 turbo setup.
