Removing Crank Pulley?(not the bolt)
Hey all, first off I've done multiple searches and couldn't find anything on this. So I apologize if its already been covered. I managed to get off the crank pulley BOLT using a 5 foot pipe and the pulley holder that has been mentioned a lot on here. Which by the way, you can rent at Pep boys, or purchase off amazon.com for $24.99 + SH, hadn't seen that info posted on here anywhere.
Now for some reason I was expecting to just slide the pulley itself off without a problem... well... it wiggles a little, but I can't get it to slide off. Am I supposed to use a harmonic balancer puller? Do I need to do anything with the key other than not lose it?
Sorry if this is a stupid question, in all the walk throughs I've read it just says to "remove pulley". No mention of a puller.

I never had problems removing the pulley, maybe it's stuck because of rust. You will need to use a puller to remove it in this case i guess.
The key should remain in place, it does have the "pressure" of the balancer and timing sprockets. If it were to move, well, just re-do the timing job!
