Default TW - 97 Civic Coupe EX

Asking price is $4200 obo. This has been my daily for the past 5 years and it has been a VERY reliable car. Has a few upgrades, nothing major.

List of mods.

OEM CTR 96-98 Head Lights
Password JDM Yellow Fog Lights
OEM CTR Non Power Folding Power Mirrors
Replica CTR Front Lip
99-00 Tail Lights
USDM ITR 5 Lug Conversion
Brembo Cross Drilled and Slotted Front and Rear Rotors
Skunk2 Front Camber Kit
SPC Rear Camber Kit
99-00 Si 26mm Front Sway Bar
ASR Rear Sub Frame Brace w/ USDM ITR 22mm Rear Sway Bar
Energy Suspension Rear Traing Arm, Shifter, and Rear Sway Bar Bushings
Skunk2 Struts (maybe 5k miles on them)
Gold Line Lowering Springs - 1.5" drop Rides Smooth.
99-00 Leather Back Seat (Was gonna do S2K fronts but never got around to it)
CTR Shift Boot
B&M Race Model Short Shifter
Skunk2 Weighted Shift ****
99-00 Si Gauge Cluster
HKS Cat Back Exhaust
Short Ram Intake
EBay Header
Automatic Civic Radiator (Dual Core instead of Single Core)

Good

Clean and Clear title in my name
A/C Blows Cold
Heater Blows Hot
Transmission Flushed with Honda MTF 2K miles ago.
I drive this car every day to work and back and it gives me absolutely NO PROBLEMS whatsoever.
Inspection good until April
Registration good until January
New NGK Plugs installed 10-1-10
New Axles installed 10-8-10
New battery installed 10-8-10
New NGK Wires installed 10-12-10

Bad

Radio was stolen - FAWK THIEVES
Front driver's side fender was hit and the replacement is off color. Trying to find one closer to the rest of the car.
Was rear ended about 2 months ago so the rear bumper doesn't line up just perfect on the driver's side.
I don't know the EXACT mileage because I swapped over to the 99-00 cluster. Right now the cluster reads 203xxx miles but it was over the car's actual mileage by about 30k-35k miles. So based on that average I will say it's around 170k miles.

I have an authentic Spoon carbon fiber hood that will some with the car if you want it, but the clear coat is really bad so the hood is faded. A little work and it could be back to it's original luster.

Also I have a brand new SIR front bumper with moldings than will come with the car. I was gonna get the rear as well but didn't get around to it.

Again car is and has been a daily driver for the past 5 years so it does have it's typical chips and dings here and there but nothing major.

On to the pics

You can call, text, or pm me. If you call and I don't answer it is probably because I am at work. Just leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Don't be afraid to throw me an offer. Everything's negotiable. Low balling welcome.

all offers welcome. I've found a BMW I want to get so not really looking for trades but if you want to shoot me an offer with what you have, you never know, it might change my mind. I have 2 kids so mainly interested in sedans, but if you have a nice coupe of some sort, it never hurts to ask. doesn't have to be a Honda either but prefer imports.

again, nothing at all wrong with this car, just looking for something new and different.

As promised..........more pics. Also, it still has 400 miles left before the next oil change but I plan on going ahead and doing it tomorrow so it will be one less thing the new buyer has to worry about.

This shot is just showing the car going down the road, everything working on the gauge cluster and no CEL's.

Some interior shots

No rips or tears on the side bolsters

Damn thieves got my radio but at least the factory connectors are still there.

Kids were in the back seat so no pics of it. Will try and get one tomorrow.

Rear subframe brace

Skunk2 Shocks and a shot of the rear sway bar kinda

Might be unimportant but this is just a couple of pics showing the power windows and sunroof all work.

Under the hood

JDM Bling

And like I said this is a daily so it does have its nicks here and there.

And a better shot of the rear bumper

Fresh oil change. This is probably excessive and some of you might not care but this is what I do every time I change my oil.

First I get my car to operating temperature.

I always use OEM Honda filters and replace the crush washer.

For anyone who cares it has a magnetic drain plug. Anyways, old crush washer coming off.

New crush washer going on.

And like I said I always use OEM filters. Old filter next to new.

I NEVER reuse old oil to lube to gasket. I fill the filter with fresh oil and use it to lube the gasket.

Then I fill the engine and always use a funnel as to not spill excess oil onto the engine and to get a true amount of how much oil I put in. And as for the drops on the valve cover there, well we can't be perfect all the time, lol. It wasn't much spillage.

I try to get as close to 3.8qts as I can by eyeballing it. It is a 5qt container. There is aprox. 1.2qts left. For those who can't do math : 5qts total - 1.2qts left = 3.8qts used.

Anyways, like I said this is probably excessive but I try to make sure my car is well maintained.

Title says TW which means testing the water. And if you reread the first sentence is says I might sell if the OFFER is right. Meaning that I am seeing what people will offer me for it and if the offer is good then I will accept. But I don't have to sell the car by any means so if I keep it, that's cool with me too. So all that being said, if you want to shoot me an offer on what you think is a fair price, go ahead. If I think it's fair, we have a deal, if not, we can negotiate from there.

Bump for offers. Still driving it every day with no problems.
