Preparing for this race as we speak. That is my birthday weekend and im excited to make it back to the track after a 5 year hiatus. Racing, gambling and bowling for the weekend!!!!!!!!! Put me in for the brackets, maybe pro all motor if i step up my build.
Supras Invade Las Vegas (SILV) is piggy backing their drag/show portion of their weekend on to IFO, so expect 100+ Supras there with several entering the FIP and FIS race classes.
We are all staying at the Luxor through the SILV discounted rate ($109/weekend, $50/week night). Deadline to book at this rate is Sept 19: http://vegas.supras.org/2010/hotel.asp

woot! I got a phone call today and turns out my reservation won the SILV group drawing, which I didn't even know I was entered for, lol. I won a free room upgrade to Tower Suite at the Luxor Saturday night before the race!
I rather stay at Aliante Station, much nicer and its 15 mins from the track...but the upgrade is cool though
one place you have to eat is the stratosphere cafe. hands down the best food. im always in vegas and a food critique this place has the best.
i dont mind staying in places that have good parking and pay extra. cesars and paris has some good parking for trailers.

Would they let you park even if your not staying? We did the group buy for the Luxor and im asking everyone i know in the area if i could store my truck/gear/trailer at there place but havent gotten a for sure answer yet so im looking for backup plans. Were staying out there from sat to mon.
