99 Prelude Base No Spark No Start
I'm pretty new to preludes, I've always been a civic guy.
Anyways I bought a blown up 99 prelude base, put new 99 prelude base motor in. Motor cranks but there is no spark.
Changed distributor, coil, and main relay and still no go. Any ideas?

I changed it with 2 working main relays, no change.
Used, but they were in working order.
I checked the plug going to the external coil, the black and yellow wire has continuity, the rest do not. I'm not sure if they are supposed to though.
It has an external coil? Anyways I checked for spark using the screw driver arch method coming from the external coil and got nothing.
No check engine light surprisingly. This actually worries me as I haven't checked the the wires going to the ECU yet..

What about the crank sensor? I had one brake and replaced everything from the spark plugs to the dist. Eventually seen that the sensor was wobbly and upon touch it, it fell out.

Were you getting spark? My problem is I am getting no spark what so ever. I am getting power from the coil to the dist cap. I took the cap/rotor off and tested the power wire going to the ICM and had continuity. I used 2 separate distributors and even changed the ICM in one and still can't get anything.
Thanks to you I remembered to check the crank sensor and plug, well it just so happens my crank sensor plug was halfway plugged in. I plugged it all the way in and it started right up. Thanks everyone for your input.
