Default Kpro trans swap

hey dudes,
im planning on going turbo with my K20A3 w/ a k20a2 or z1 transmission.
then after a year or so of thrashing my A3 engine i have a K20Z1 motor to swap.

Which ecu do i kpro?
I have my stock a3 & a stock k20a2.
Do i have to get them both reflashed?

no, send your a2 ecu into hondata and call it a day. that's all your gonna need. and depending on how much power u plan to make your 5 speed is a stronger gear box than the 6 speed.

a2 ecu with a3 engine... got it.

true, it's also cheaper an easier to find.
but the 6 speed has the gear ratio im looking for.

you may want to check with hondata if they will even do kpro ecu upgrade...according to their website and my tuner, who is a authorized dealer for hondata you cannot get kpro any more, at least directly thru hondata...

umm bro... what?!?!?!? i think you got something mixed up or someone is lying to you. (like a bad joke hopefully) .. i just sent one in.. you have to purchase your upgrade thru an authorized dealer. such as club rsx.. then you receive instructions to send the ecu to hondata and then hondata send it back to you next day service. hondata does not handle the orders or purchases, just the modification of the ecu.

this makes a lot more sense.
Plus they have a monopoly on K series engine management. Most likely they'll have a new generation product come out. Hopefully sell the one we have now for cheaper. !!!
Which fuel pump are you guys using?

How did you hear this? Why hasn't this been in any of the last issues of Honda-Tuning?
It's like wiping before you poop, just doesn't make any sense!

its been on their forums for months about them stopping production on Kpro...my tuner is an authorized seller of hondata products, that is where i got/get most of my info from...idk when or if it will be in the near future but i have heard this from multiple people online and in person.....
