Smog guy tells me that my ignition timing is retarded. So i try to fix it and the only way i get the 3 marks to line up with the pointer is to advance it all the way towards the firewall. Doesn't that mean i am running lean? Could i have a faulty distributor?

 

Forget it, i might have been using the timing light wrong. Update in the morning...
