I have a 99-00 A/C button that I want to use as a starter kill. Is it possible to have it be a push button? I want to have to hold down the A/C button while I crank the car over. Is this possible and if it is how would I wire it?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
that seems like it would kind of suck because they're on the same side of the steering wheel. a little awkward if you ask me. having it be a push on push off like the stock switch config would be easier.

I don't mind the awkwardness. I like the idea of a push-and-hold to start it. Also, it is less likely that a thief will think he needs to hold it while turning the ignition.
you will have to meter the wires to see if the button physically works as a momentary push button or not, other wise there is no way to make it something it's not

Shoot me your email and I will give you the diagram. Or call me and I will walk you thru it. Or come down and we can do it toghter.
Also curious about this, i dont have AC in the car anymore so i have those buttons available that dont do anything right now, i wouldnt mind an extra level of security.
I don't believe the AC button would work as a momentary switch. But you could use it as a fuel pump KS or something.
