the problem is, once i connect the positive cable to the positive terminal on the battery the motor starts turning over without the ignition being on or even the key in the ignition, never seen this problem before if any one knows what it may be please let me know.

Somehow your solenoid wire is receiving 12 volts all the time. it should only receive it when the key is turned. It's the little black wire coming off the starter. -Later, BR

the starter is directly hooked up to the postive terminal on the battery. the way it's suppose to work is when you turn the key to the "on" position it completes the circuit to the ground wire that is attatched to the starter. some how you have a constant ground attached to the starter, so when you hook up the battery it's as if your turning the key. i would trace the ground wire on the starter and see why its constant.

sounds like either your ignition switch or starter solenoid is bad. disconnect the thin wire from the starter solenoid and reconnect the battery and see what happens. if it still wants to crank, then your starter solenoid is bad. if after disconnecting the thin wire from the solenoid and reconnecting the battery, the car doesn't crank...then most likely the ignition switch is bad or the starter signal wire is shorted.

huh?? that's not at all how it's supposed to work. the engine is a ground itself and the starter being attached means it's grounding to the engine, at all times. when the ignition is turned to start the small trigger wire at the starter provides +12v which engages the solenoid (aka big *** relay) and then causes the starter motor to kicks on

well the funny thing is now it only does it when i turn the key to the "II" on position and push the clutch in as if i were starting the car. The car cranks and there are some codes being thrown i havent seen which codes they are because the car starts but sounds like a vacuum leak or something and only picks up rpms when is throttle open. But as soon as i pull the key out the gas is killed and then car keeps cranking until the positve is taken off the battery

EDIT: no O2 sensor is connected, hence some codes
