rear speaker ideas
alright.. i want to put my alpine type S 6x9s in the rear. but the problem i face is the factory holes are i think 6". does anyone have good ideas on how to mount them and make them look good and not just stuffed in.
all ideas are welcome.

^he is correct,however, the whole no rear speakers comes down to opinon. I hated not having rear speakers, the rear fill, i fell is a good thing. Others may not agree and that is totaly fine. just wanted to put that out there.
Go to crutchfeild or somewhere and you should be able to find out for sure what size they are. If they are anything like 96-00 they are 6x9's.

i went ahead and put them in. but im not liking it. so im taking them out tomorrow and trying something else. i saw on another tread that i can use the whole i cut to vent the subs into the interior. is that a good idea or should i just cover the holes back to what they orginally were like. what does venting the trunk do? louder bass?
in theory yes it would be louder, i've seen people vent through the rear deck and actually fiberglass in a vent. different strokes for different folks. i would leave them uncovered, but you might find that you want to sound deaden the rear deck to stop rattling.
