hey i got a question about this intake
so i just plan on buying this intake (cheapy ebay one) for my 2000 integra ls but i got a question. would my abs pump/lines block it?? heres the intake http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123 and i already have a filter.
yeah i just emailed the guy and he said it wouldnt work with abs.. but by looking at it, it has another curve at the end so i don't think it would hit my abs
You probably can use it, but measure and cut to length. A good band saw will be useful. If you know the distance from TB to airbox, or the length of the straight portion, you could tell if it would fit by getting dimensions from seller. It looks like it comes with a reducer from 3" down to TB opening. If only one piece of silicone is provided, then you will need another from the tube to the filter. You can cut the present rubber tube, or get a junk one, and use an end piece to slip onto the tube and air filter instead of another piece of silicone. Without insulation, it will get warm, sitting, but at speed, temperatures come down under the hood. The way I explained it, it should be in the same position as stock, no line interference, and will probably not help over stock. The idea of 3" is good if your TB is 3", certainly not stock.
