What is the 3rd pressure switch failure?

Default What is the 3rd pressure switch failure?

It is returning that error code on my 2000 accord. Do I need to replace this immediately?

Your vehicle may enter a default shift pattern because of this DTC. You should be able to still drive the car. However, diagnosing the problem is important.

In my experience the switch itself is usually the culprit. The switch is confirmation that a shift has occured and clutch pressure can be released from the previous gear.

You can replace it yourself. No ECM programming or anything required.

I had the same code, i ended up picking up the switch from ebay for $45 and had my mechanic install the unit. I also did a drain and refill for the tranny.
