Default swapped b16a cams for gsr..now sluggish

just swapped some gsr cams onto my b16a. it idles fine, but in low rpms, its really sluggish and cuts out, kinda like its missing, and when i get to about 3500 or 4000 rpms is smooths out and hits vtec normal. timing is right. the only thing i didnt do is re-adjust my valve lash because i have to wait till the morning to get some feeler gauges. would incorrect valve lash cause this problem. its a very noticable difference, my car feels like a piece! also, i have access to a gsr ecu...would swapping out my p30 help at all or not. sorry i know these are kinda noob questions.

its .06 and .08 valve lash right

Kind of pointless swap but did you time your ignition timing with a timing gun? Valve adjustment can also cause it but I would look into timing again.

well, i got the cams for free, and my motor was from an automatic car(ive heard these cams arent as good as the manual cars). i unbolted the dizzy and didnt mess with it. i marked the belt to the cam gears. put my gears on the gsr cams, and lined the gears back up with the marks to the belt. and yes it was at top dead center. and put the dizzy back on without messing with it.

your cam timing is probably off a tooth...double check.

okay, just double checked timing. with the crank pulley 0 mark sittin right at the pointer, the cam gears point up and i can get a screwdriver in both cam keyholes. the rotor button is pointed at number one, and i do have my firing order 1342. slid a .06 gauge for the intake and .08 for the exhaust and fit pretty good so lash seems right to me too. the exhaust cam gear is pointing a little more retarded than the intake but the keyholes line up. i guess i just need a timing light now. or maybe i have a bad plug, but it idles fine and smooths out in high rpm. i dunno
