i have a 87 crx si motor i am plannin on putin the motor in my 90 crx hf but i wanna know if my f22b2 soh head will fit on my d15a3 soh motor....o and if u know were i can get performance parts for the d15a3 motor that would help alot....

 

NO, 1.5 and 1.6 SOHC heads swap pretty easily, wont fit at all...sorry about your luck

No you cannot swap the f-series head on your d-series motor.

 

no i obviously didnt miss the fact that hes trying to swap an accord head on a d series, hence why i said that it wont work at all...thanks for reading plain english buckwheat

 

also, the D15A3 engine is not going to bolt into the 2g CRX - different mounts and won't bolt to 2g transmission

 

Like it has been said above you have a 90 crx hf, you can't swap in a powertrain from a pre-88 crx. You can't use any f-series parts on you d-series. Your car is an hf, I'd suggest getting a swap out of a 90-91 Si, put that in you car and call it a day.

 

Only head swap available for the d15a3 is teh dual cam head form the integra's d16a1
