Engine block help
I currently have a 1992 Honda Civc DX that had a boosted B18C1 engine. I have recently parted out the turbo kit to return to naturally aspired for better reliability as a daily driver.
Since I have an alternate daily driver I have decided to rebuild the engine since I do not know the full history of it.
For the cylinder head I am just getting it inspected, hot-tanked, milled (if needed), and a 3-angle valve job. The local machine shop says this is approximately $245.
As for the block I am not 100% sure what I should do. Since I am moving into a new home later this week I am on a tighter budget. So I thought it might be better to sell my GSR block and buy a B20 block. But then again I believe the GSR block would be more reliable.
I want my civic to be a fun, reliable, daily driver. Which block do you prefer for this? Also what are your opinions about the RS Machine 81.5mm ITR pistons?

I would say since you are tight on money just stay with your gsr block get it bored .20 over which will make it 81.5mm and do the rs machine pistons, havent heard of any trouble from these from people
