I lowered my car this weekend with a set of sportlines and dropped a few of the bearings from the strut bearing. I thought I collected them all but am not clear as to how many there should be.

It looks like I have room for may be one or two more bearings. I remember from the other strut that it looked the same as though there was room for an extra bearing.

Should there be no empty space around the diameter?

If so does anyone have a few extra bearings they can part with?

I think that this is the source of the occasional "thunking" when turning.

BTW: the car looks great around 1.5" drop all around, should have left the factory this way.... Next stop will be a set of Eibach sway bars....

 

I would just buy new bearings. They don't cost much.

 

What size are the ball bearings and where could I get them?
