are the shells the same? Obviously the bases are not, but i was wondering if the cases for the mirrors are interchangeable.

Why are you wanting to swap? If it's the line that runs through the middle, then 98+ Integra, any Prelude or TL.

i have a set of type r style mirrors for my civic sedan and the passenger side one has a slight crack in the housing. was just gonna get it fixed but figured i should get a replacement if it's cheap enough... which it is.

notice the smoothness of the first set and the ridges on the second set.. i'm looking for the second set i guess.
