So heres my story first im 23 now ive had my civic since i was 16. Literally in the last year its been stolen twice. The first time got it back in 15 mins. Second time got it back in 2 weeks and got most the parts back another week later. So now im rebuilding everything. Pics coming soon. I just need to get him running to get to work so heres my dilemma. The driver side window goes up and down perfectly. The passenger has power but will not go up or down *its not the regulators there brand new and motors* but my buddy checked the power and theres definitely power just wont go down. I checked the fuse and its fine anyone have any idea?? And for my second question. None of my blinkers work. The thiefs stole my hazard switch and I been checking junk yards but nothing. Would that completely stop my turn signals tho from working? And another thing my guages dont light up they stole the clip that connects to the button to dims the guage. Its a mess i know but any help any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. AC's out too anyone have any ideas?

 

Not sure about your window situation but if the connector to the hazards aren't connected, your blinkers will not work.

 

ahhh really? the hazard switch runs the blinkers? I cant find that damn switch anywhere

 

Yup, I found that out today when I was driving w/o a center dash and realized my blinkers didn't work. I connected just the hazard and the blinkers worked again.

 

just found the hazard switch on ebay but the guys that stole it took all the connectors that connect to the dash hazards rear windows buttons

 

make sure the regulator is getting ground, and the dimming switch will definitely cause the cluster and climate contol lights not to work

 

So i went to the junk yard got a new dimmer switch and it worked fine... then after a few minutes it started to smoke up all weird i was like wtf... so i unplugged it and replaced it with an extra switch i had.. and that one wouldnt work so i checked the fuse it was blown so i replaced it.. problem is now the the speedometer isnt able to dim or get brighter it just stays at one level. Anyone know what the problem is? and also should i be worried that it smoked up? Think itll happen again?

oh and i fixed the windows.. work perfect now.
