hello

This morning on the way to church smoke started pouring out of the dash. Stopped engine and evacuated the car. No fire in engine. Started car and drove home- no smoke.

Found a red and yellow crimped wire. red was burned and broken. Yellow goes towards glove box other piece of red disappears in consol. Looked further found the broken/burned red wire led into the fuse box. It has a spade connector at the top of the fuse box - it is one of 2. Where does it go to? I do not know why it suddenly burned out. Any ideas? Everything else seems to work. The car has the original radio although an AIWA underseat cd had been fitted(non-functional)
