Clifford Avantguard 4 alarm not working...
I woke up this morning to my Clifford Avantguard 4 alarm not working. My car is 95 Accord with automatic transmission and the alarm was professionally installed in 2002. I have never experienced this before. I press the arm/disarm button on my remote and nothing happens. I get inside the car and start it up fine and tried using the pin code to reprogram the remote but as soon as I enter my pin and hold the star keypad for 2 seconds the car actually shuts off and I am unable to get into the program mode. Thinking it's the 5 year old battery, I took it to Walmart and had the battery replaced but I get the same result when trying to reprogram the remote. I checked all the fuse that connects to the battery terminal and all seems fine. Any guess as to what the problem is? I have remote start and BlackJax on the alarm if that helps. Thanks

Try unpluging the brain for 20 seconds and plug it back in. If you still can't get it to program. Send the brain in to dei for service.
Fixed...by punching the pin code with the driver side door open and messing with the remote control and somehow I got it to work. Thanks
