Power Steering Pump Issue
Hey guys, im tuning up my girlfriend's daughters '97 Acura CL 3.0.
The power steering pump was making a grinding sound almost like a bad bearing and leaking, so i ordered a replacement ump from A1 Cardone. I just threw it on today and its making the exact same sound.
Is this normal?
Do i have the tension adjusted incorrectly?
Hoping you guru's can point me in the right direction on this noise.
Thank you.

if there is a "proper" way to do it, then probably not
i ***-umed the air would get into the PS fluid resivoir and bleed out with the cap off.
after a little googling for bleeding the PS.. is there a valve to use on the honda PS system?
im starting to think it must be leaking air in somehwere on the suction side of the pump.
i guess its time to jack it up and look around... anywhere a typical spot for failure?
