Default TCU code 14

I traded my pick up for 93 ex accord wagon and a couple days later i can't rev past 3,500. I changed spark plug, spark plug wires, fuel filter, pick up coil in dizzy, rotor and cap, repaired a leaking capacitor in the tcu and still the same. What can this be and solutions


HELP!!!!!!!

You can blindly replace more parts and spend more money. But doing that will not fix it because sounds like you did not properly diagnos the problem in the first place. I love the wannebe mechanics who replace every part they can see. If I can R+R it with realitive ease they will change the part even without the proper symptom tree diagnosis and testing. I see this over and over on this site. Purchase a Helms and go by the symptom tree guide in the book. You will be much happier. CHEERS!

I changed the parts for 2 reasons
1. to see if it needed change because i have the car for two weeks
2. Try to resolve the problem

It's called a tune up
