Default Looking for coil overs. Any Ideas?

I am purchasing an '03 RSX in November and would like to reduce the horrendous wheel gap for looks as well as auto-x. I am trying to do some research on what is out there. Anyone running coilovers currently or know which are junk or which are quality?

I have heard that the Teins are great, but that the threads are made of steel and tend to rust when exposed to inclement weather. i have heard that the JIC's are better. I personally don't have any yet.

yeah when you think coilover, don't think $1000+

for most people a Koni Yellow + GC setup is great.

i went to nopi in atlanta this past week and i wasn't too highh on the teins until i saw them close up. if you have the $ go with the teins totally adjustable by remote control freakin' nice. i will definitely be picking some up within the next year. if you're gonna do it do it right.

I am on skunk2's and I love them. Smooth ride and handling is great. No squeaky noise or anything from them. Fully adjustable and easy to adjust. I like them and would recomend them to anyone.Good luck with the car.

I was at Nopi as well last weekend and I thought the product quality was good, but I was concerned about rust. The cast is machined steel. and from some of the other forums on coil-overs there has been complaints about rust.

As for the G.C.'s and Koni yellows. I am not convinced that sleeved is the way to go.

Will the Ground Controls work with the stock shock or do I have to replace it with an aftermarket shock right away? I'm not too familiar with the GC's, but can some one give me the spring rates they have? how low will they drop the car?

what about a quick fix? like just the springs, somthing that is lower and better than stock, but doesn't cost an arm and a leg

i got neuspeed race on my car. stiffer ride but without shocks, it's a little bouncy. i heard eibach gives a pretty nice drop and performs well. i wanna change out my springs and perhaps get some jic's. if you are interested in buying my neuspeeds...i'll let them go for $175. let me know if you are interested.
