1991 Honda Accord - need advice.
So, I'm looking at buying a 1991 Honda Accord LX. I told the guy I'd give him $1,250 and am paying for it on Monday.. but before it's too late, any thoughts? I test drove it.. UNFORTUNATELY, it's a damn automatic.. but I don't have much of a choice at the moment.. it drove good, had nice pull.. it's all stock.. has 219k, 60k of which is on a rebuilt engine (clean title).. all the rest is original, I believe.

I WAS looking at a '91 Acura Integra.. but the kid was more interested in me than actually selling the car. I told him to stop dicking around, and asked him if he'd seriously consider my offer.. but he got intimidated and never messaged me back.
This is the Acura: http://lewiston.craigslist.org/cto/1861800951.html
Wish I could be getting the Acura.. but was thinking if I buy the Accord.. I could black out the head & tail lights and do a little aftermarket stuff.. then sell it for like $1,500 or so.. and buy my dream ITR later
Thoughts, opinions, advice?
BTW, the Lewiston, Idaho area has NOTHING to offer when it comes to Hondas and Acuras.. no clean cars.. they're either riced out or mechanic specials that I can't work on

hmm, well auto NOOO!!! but u dnt hav a choice so its ok. it does sound like a good deal, my accord that u see under my name, to the left (yeap thats my baby), STOP LOOKING!!, haha. well she has a rebuilt engine, runs smooth and strong. its like having a new engine! so yea if u want it go for it. but if u can wait to get something better with a manual transimission, then do that.
First off, if you're ever gonna buy an auto, take it up a steep hill a few times, make sure that transmission is not shot. If it is, you just bought junk. I usually only buy manuals if the car has a lot of miles.
Yeah, I'm worried that it has 219k and is an automatic.. but like I said, I don't have a choice. And yeah, they're usually reliable cars.. and the guy that's selling it to me said that if I had any problems, to bring it to his place.. one of his friends is a Honda mechanic I guess.
