I was trying to take my lower motor mount out to put in the energy suspension inserts and one of the bolts popped loud and now it just spins in place, im guessing there is a nut welded inside the frame that came un-welded or something.

I reallly dont want to cut into the frame to get this beaatch out, you guys think I could just bolt the other side up and let the other side be, instead undo the 19mm bolt in the middle to get the inserts in? the bolt is not loose, its flush with the frame, but it just spins so I dunno if its tight enough, I dont want any probs.

 

are you talkin about the one on the rear sub frame?

 

its the passenger side stabilizer mount right by the tire.

 

this happened to mine so i ended up grinding the head of the bolt off and welded it back on and used the back bolt cuz that one was fine

 

oh damn that sucks.. there is no way your gonna fix that, like lunareg said grind that bitch off and use the one side its no biggie i dorve arround with out one for a week after my swap until my axel popped out lol

 

Cut the side of the frame next till the bolt and use a 19mm box wrench and then your good. That pop you heard broke the wield that holds that nut.

 

Well the weld seems to have broke, but the bolt is still in the same position. I'm not even able to a screwdriver under it so I just made the other side real tight. Think it will be a prob like that?
