Anyone got any suggestions on these mods.....
Well at the moment i have a 5th generation stock prelude. No its not the SH model but it still kicks ***. I'm thinking of getting an AEM short ram intake, DC sport headers 4-2-1, and probably DC sport exhaust but im trying to look for the duals (if i spelled that right). Anyone have any suggestions or comments on these mods or what kind of engine mounts or strut tower brace i should get? Thanks for your help.
thus far, u'll have no need for engine mounts or the strut bar.
1) engine mounts only if yer into 1/4 drags, or yer stockers is wearing out
2) stb will only improve (noticeably) the chassis dynamics if u run some or all: bigger rims, uprated shoxx, lowering springs.

Thanks for the suggestions but what do ya think about the setup that i have going now with the intake/exhaust/headers? Can i get some suggestions also on parts that would increase my horsepower like a mod chip? I have seen one that increases hp 25%. It costs somewhere around $300. Are they safe to put inside your car? Will they mess with my engine?
I suggest you not get a short ram intake, as it will slow your car down. I suggest you save your $$$ until you can afford a Mugen header, as DC will do almost nothing for your car.

Don't go with short ram! Short ram will use HOT air from under your hood, go with a cold air intake. I know I guy who dynode a short ram and then cold air intake setup. The cold air setup was much better. In fact on a 5th gen, the stock with resenator removed was better than the short ram.
After U get your I/H/E installed get a VTECH/AF piggyback computer. Then go find a dyno and tune your car. Reset your computer before tuning, and reset it again every 200 miles, so the darn ECU will not undo your tuning.
As for what most peeps go with:
Intake: AEM or ICEMANE
Header: DC sports
Exauhst: lots to pick from here, do some research.
Controller: Apexi

The best info i can give you is to plan ahead. If your going to go turbo don't spend money on a intake and a header and you will porbably want your exhaust done custom. If you go supercharger like Me
i have Aem intake, DC Header and Tanabe super racing medallion exhaust. If you go Forced induction don't worry about the little apex-i controller get hondata. If you go N/A the apex-i controller should be fine.
