Default Camber ????

Alright I have a question. I have a ek that I'm dropping on skunk 2 springs and tociko blues. All in all its a 2.25 in the front drop and a 2.5 drop. I understand that I need a camber kit in the rear to prevent tire wear. I would assume the same in the front, however I've heard alignment shops can adjust the front without a camber kit is this true? Keep in mind I'm not doing too extreme a couple off auto X at most. So will I need a front camber kit or will they be able to adjust the front with the stock suspension to prevent tire wear?

Read the FAQ at the top of the suspension forum. You do not need a camber kit. Bad toe out after lowering is what causes the most tire wear. The shop will be able to adjust toe after you get the car to the desired ride height. Tires, swaybars and spring rates and shocks are more important than camber. As long as its somewhere in the -1 to -3 or so range and fairly even both sides its fine.

Yes you need to pay your alignment shops for expensive camber kits and I would get them for the front and rear, and make sure you pay them and arm and a leg for installation as well.

just get an alingment and you will be just fine.

However if your looking to fine tune your camber or adjust it what you want, then you will need a camber kit.
There are a lot of people on here runing -3 degrees of camber with perfect tire wear.
