my dads car is a ford expedition and it keeps turning off everytime we at a stop light or stop sign whenever the car still btw automatic. car shows a service engine light i was thinking it probably the sparkplugs and maybe coil? or wire w.e it has havnt checked yet. well just wanted to hear if anyone got an input on this for i know what i should be checking for when i finally start working on it
yea but idk it doesnt neccessarily stutter as much as just die but yea idk i got strong feeling on coil and sparkplugs too ima do the obd2 test now see if it anything comes out
alright! i believe i figured what the problem is the MAF cuz codes are shooting O2 sensors like crazy so i believe if all O2 sensors shoot its most likely the MAF right?

Take it to autozone or Orielly's. They usually have scan tools for CEL's for rent. My dads Toyota Pickup use to die like that as well. Changed out the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Hasnt died since then. Process of elimination
Well Maybe...... Are the codes for a lean condition PO141, or are the codes specific to the O2 sensors like a O2 heater circuit malfunction(bank 1 sensor 1)
If it is a PO141 then YES it very well might be your MAF being contaminated.
Tell us the codes you have and we can try to figure it out.
