Default This ISNT for a honda but help me out

my dads car is a ford expedition and it keeps turning off everytime we at a stop light or stop sign whenever the car still btw automatic. car shows a service engine light i was thinking it probably the sparkplugs and maybe coil? or wire w.e it has havnt checked yet. well just wanted to hear if anyone got an input on this for i know what i should be checking for when i finally start working on it

how do you check it though? is it the same as checking the check engine light?

spark plugs and coil will cause a misfire kinda like farting for a car you cant miss it.

yea but idk it doesnt neccessarily stutter as much as just die but yea idk i got strong feeling on coil and sparkplugs too ima do the obd2 test now see if it anything comes out

alright! i believe i figured what the problem is the MAF cuz codes are shooting O2 sensors like crazy so i believe if all O2 sensors shoot its most likely the MAF right?

Take it to autozone or Orielly's. They usually have scan tools for CEL's for rent. My dads Toyota Pickup use to die like that as well. Changed out the spark plugs and spark plug wires. Hasnt died since then. Process of elimination

Perhaps I read it wrong, but i thought he said if all O2's threw codes then the problen is the MAF. It would not be. But P0141, then yes I agree it could be the MAF...
