The A/C in my wife's MDX is making a buzzing/clicking noise, so we took to the dealership. They told us the motor blower needed to be cleaned but they wanted to charge us 60 bucks. i figured i could do it myself.

I have searched, i found a service bulletin but its for 01-04 MDX's.

Not sure if its the same, i would appreciate any help as i dont want to pay 60 bucks

If you can remove the motor then go for it but you will not be able to disassemble it to clean and lube the bearing for example, you will only be able to remove the dead field mouse or piece of plastic that was sucked up into the intake, SO, if you remove it and dont see anything physically wrong with the cage or up inside of the air duct, then you will need to get another motor and cage. Hopefully you just have some leaves and nuts in there from some rodent making a home.
