was it a paper filter? then no its not washable. is your motor really worth it over a spoon branded filter that is now destroyed?

i wouldnt use the filter again. do you really want to chance blowing your engine?

All the foam filters I've seen before are supposed to be cleaned with a special spray, not water. Then you just add new oil.

It is washable. Just not with water though.

The K&N filters also use a spray cleaner and oil spray. You can buy it at Autozone for something like $12.

water plus special spray for older k&n, there are some new dryflow filters out there that don't use the oils.
