*Feeler* For Trade: 1999 Honda Civic EX - lightly modded
So this is definitely a feeler, not necessarily lookin' to get rid of my Civic because i've put a lot of time, work, and money into this car, but just seeing what's out there. I absolutely love this car and will only give it up if the right deal comes along.
As of right now this car is for trade only.
Here is some info:
- 1999 Honda Civic EX with clean carfax in hand.
- 5 Speed manual transmission, no grinds or pop-outs
- Engine is bone stock. Doesn't burn any oil and is VERY clean
- Engine has 160k, although the odometer reads 111k. The previous owner replaced the entire cluster because the RPM gauge stopped working and he couldn't find one with the same miles on it.
- I have a brand new Exedy replacement clutch kit still in the box which will be included in the trade.
- Overall the car is in great shape, it runs perfect and has never let me down. The interior is basically flawless, it is incredibly clean. The exterior has a few little dings and the clear coat is kind of cracking on the hood but its only noticeable from up close.
- Religiously maintained. Oil changed every 3k miles. I also just installed a new alternator and battery.
Mods:
- Function&Form Type 1 adjustable coilovers with about 1000 miles on them. A super comfortable ride, I am very happy with these coilovers. Its pretty low but not slammed. Tires never rub on the fenders, even with a car full of people.
- 15x6.5 Trak Lite wheels (Rota Slipstream style) with 205/50/15 tires. Wheels and tires also have about 1000 miles on them. Wheels, tires and suspension are almost new.
- eBay rear camber kit
- eBay Si style front grille. Great fitment for being an ebay item, i was pleasantly surprised!
- Spoon style mirrors
- New JVC CD player with MP3/USB. Plug in your ipod and play, this is a cool head unit.
Altogether, I have about $7000 invested into the car since i've owned it.
Come check it out, test drive it, do what you gotta do! I'm located on the central coast of California, near San Luis Obispo.
Like i said, trades only. I will consider a car of lesser value + cash but am also willing to add cash for a car of greater value. Just seeing whats out there. Onto some pics:
