Default 4wd wagon advice

Hello. I just bought a 4wd wagon and it needs new struts really badly. I want something sort of sporty but not insane racing hard. Maybe a decent coilover kit, I may want to lower it a tiny bit.
Any suggestions on what to get and where I can get it would be appreciated greatly.

Congrats on pickim up the wagon. Been tryin to find one in good condition myself for awhile. As far as suspension Not too familiar but I believe the front is normal ef suspension so there are a couple differnt routes to go there. for the back I believethe spring is perched 2 lower than normal ef. So lowerin on stock shocks from the wagon are gonna slam the back.. any fellow wagon owners correct me if im wrong, not 100% sure.

Correct, fronts are exactly the same. The read shock perch is lower to compensate for the longer spring. I cant recall if the rear shock tower is lower is also lower...

Anyway, you might need to swap out the LCA if you have the type R one. Not unless you can find a type R adjustable suspension.

Here is a picture of just using adjustable c-overs on stock shocks. Not a good ride at all..

The Skunk2 kit is the most popular. It's what I currently have. You can use the regular EF kit, and you don't need any other upgrades for it to ride well.

I will say, they skunk kit is really bouncy, and I am actually looking into a better set up. But it will get your ride lower and is easy to install.

While your at it, you should at least replace the stock struts with something new, especially if they look factory or old.

hondacivicwagon.com is great. welcome aboard

I've got Function/Form type 1's on my wife's wagon and Skunk2 Integra sleeve type coil overs w/Tokico blue shocks on my wagon. I like them both but I think the Function/Form's offer a better compromise of firmness yet comfortable for daily driving. The Skunk2/Tokico combination is a little stiffer but the car is pretty low and I don't daily drive that wagon anyway so it doesn't really bother me. I tried the Skunk2 sleeves w/Civic spring rates but the wagon seems a little too heavy and would frequently bottom out on rough roads. Hope this helps and good luck!

I ended up with the K Sports...same as the FF1's also. I really did like the ride and comfort.
