Default gsr block help

i have a gsr block that is disassemble and im trying to build it. i dont know any good brand parts for the block to make my car quicker. im trying to go poor man type r. give me some good brand name for the parts for the block???

oem is best! if you want a little more power, use the b16 pistons like p30's

Go for straight ITR pistons or spend a little on just high compresion n/a pistons. You can also just go oem for cheaper.

jdm b16 or usdm b16a2 pistons, but i thought itr @ ctr are domed for a higher compresion ratio.

I HATE that everyone is type r this and type r that.....itr pistons are ok, but less compression

The CTR pistons are not that great imo, i'd never used them! The dome is so extreme on them, it's so hard to get a clean burn. I have dismantled two B16B engines, man so much carbon build up...certainly didn't impress me. The jdm 2nd gen (91+) B16A were the P30 pistons

Im not a type r fan either, well i like the cars but i would also set my engine up a little differently. But anyways I did not know the p30 piston gets it like that! if its lighter well then that makes a whole lot faster rev, and i bet it would.
