Default Rear Brake Disc Stuck

Just a few weeks ago I wanted to take off my brake discs to get them resurfaced before I installed some fresh pads on my ITR. I got the screws out in the rears no prob, but when I tried taking off the disc it would not budge at all!!

What tricks have you guys tried to get the disc off if it is being stubborn?

I assume that you mean that the rotor is stuck to the hub. common if they have not been removed for a while. Whack with a rubber mallet, maybe more than once. they get a little corrosion. I do not resurface or change rotors when I change pads assuming that you have no problem but worn pads. Unless resurface is cheap, I would just replace the rotor if I was not going to use it as is.

Thanks for reminding me of using a rubber mallet. will try that when I get back around to it.
My car is the 96 spec so finding the rear rotors are a bit challenging.

I still would probably not resurface, unless you have a problem. Actually I never have, and go back and forth with track and street pads, including new sets when needed.

fastbrakes.com has the 96 ITR 4X114.3 front rotors & rear rotors you're looking for:

96 SPEC ITR plain front rotor $100
http://www.Fastbrakes.com/product_p/...t%20rotors.htm

96 SPEC ITR plain rear rotor $80
http://www.Fastbrakes.com/product_p/...r%20rotors.htm

or

you can re-drill 94-01 integra 4X100 front & rear rotors to 4X114.3;

(which is cheaper to find & source off-the-shelf at any parts store)

the 4X100 94-01 integra & 4X114.3 96 ITR share the same sized rotors:

front rotor (10.3"/ 21mm)
rear rotor (9.4")

except their lug pattern is different

* for pads, since the 96 ITR 4X114.3 also shares the same calipers found in any 4X100 94-01 integra

(fronts stamped 17CL14VN & rears stamped 7CLP13S),

they also share the same sized pads
