So this guy is going to sell me his N1 muffler with some piping for 80$ said it came off his 240sx, 1 will that muffler be ok for my EJ8, 2 I asked him to snap a pic of the tip where it would say apexi he said that they had to take off the plack to mount sideways on the 240 how do I know he's not giving me a knock off N1 style and is there ways of telling it's a legit N1 besides that

according to my knowledge, the apexi mufflers including the N1 dont have plaques on them, instead now hear this!, apexi is engraved in the steel, so chances are its a fake bought off ebay, as i have seen many on there. as for it fitting ur car i wouldnt know the accurate answer, but i would guess u hav to change the bends in the piping. U see, th 240sx and civic are different car therefore have different configurations in design.

 

Its a fake N1 cause real Apexi N1 has da Apexi plate on it and why would u even wanna remove it in the first place! $80 for the 240 cat n exhaust? U can get a brand new N1 replica off ebay and the right fitting for that same price! $120 @ the most inculding stright pipe wit the cat-back! I say jux get a brand new one form ebay if u do plan to buy that! Thas da best route to go!!
